It has been carefully preserved in sterling silver with an open back design that allows light to shine through and bring out its alluring radiance. Due to its age, the surface of the sea glass has a few tiny "c" shaped markings which form naturally as the surface of the sea glass is hydrated over time by the ocean. These markings are a characteristic feature of authentic sea glass. The necklace is shown here finished with a sterling silver stardust-style chain.
