This exquisite sea glass necklace features a captivating piece of authentic cobalt sea glass as alluring as the open sea. This beach found gem has been delicately preserved in sterling silver with a double bezel setting and an open back design that allows light to shine through the sea glass and highlight its enchanting tone. This is a very three-dimensional piece. In profile, you can see where the top is wider and the bottom part of the piece becomes more narrow where it once fit into a glass bottle before finding its way into the ocean to become sea glass. A sleek silver bead shimmers at the bottom of this pendant. It has an attached bail. Due to its age, the surface of the sea glass has a few very tiny "c" shaped markings which form naturally as the surface of the sea glass is hydrated by the ocean over time. These markings are a characteristic feature of authentic sea glass. This elegant pendant is shown here on a sterling silver rolo-style chain.
