Cobalt Light Sea Glass Horizon Whale Necklace

This exquisite necklace features an authentic piece light cobalt sea glass with a unique whale design that accents the bottom of the sea glass piece. The sleek silver whale has delightful details of its textured belly, eye, and a playful tail that makes it look like its swimming against its cobalt sea glass background. Due to its age, the surface of the sea glass has a few very tiny "c" shaped markings which form naturally as the surface of the sea glass is hydrated by the ocean over time. These markings are a characteristic feature of authentic sea glass. The sea glass piece has been horizontally preserved in sterling silver with an open back design that allows light to shine through and bring out its oceanic color. The necklace is pictured here on a shimmering sterling silver snake-style chain.
